Hedge plant questions

How many plants do I need?

Quantity depends on the length of your hedge, the variety, the plant size supplied and how dense you want the hedge to look from day one. Our calculator gives a reliable starting estimate and we confirm the final number before the order is accepted.

What does 200mm, 300mm and 400mm mean?

These are nursery pot sizes, not plant heights. A larger pot generally carries a taller, more established plant, but the supplied plant height is always listed separately for each variety.

How tall will my plants be?

Typical supplied heights vary by variety and nursery batch. The current approximate height range is shown alongside each pot size on this page.

How tall will the hedge eventually grow?

Each variety lists its typical mature height and width. In practice hedges are maintained at the height you want through regular pruning.

Are plants always in stock?

No. All orders are requests and are subject to current nursery availability. We confirm stock and plant specification before proceeding.

Do you deliver?

Yes — across our Sydney service area, including the North Shore, Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs.

Can you install the plants?

Yes. Professional planting can be requested with your order, including layout, soil preparation, planting, mulching and establishment advice.

Can you maintain the hedge afterwards?

Yes. Ongoing trimming and hedge maintenance can be arranged as the hedge develops.
