Crisp Leighton Greens in South Turramurra, completed by the Hedge Sydney team. Both faces were cut flat, the top levelled by string line and the base left slightly wider than the top so the lower growth keeps its light. Leighton green conifers will not reshoot from old wood, so every cut stays inside the green growth and the faces are tapered to keep light on the lower foliage. Clippings were removed the same day and the surrounding paths and beds blown clean before we left.
Every job finishes the same way: clippings removed, edges cleaned up and the garden left tidier than we found it. Ongoing maintenance visits are scheduled to suit the species and the season.
