Trimmed Camelias for a home in Frenchs Forest. As well as trimming, the hedge was thinned to get airflow back through the middle of the plant, which reduces the dieback and pest pressure that comes with dense growth in Sydney humidity. Camellias are shaped after flowering so next season's buds are not lost, and the cuts are kept clean to avoid dieback. Lawn edges nearby were cleaned up to finish the job.
Every job finishes the same way: clippings removed, edges cleaned up and the garden left tidier than we found it. Ongoing maintenance visits are scheduled to suit the species and the season.
