Access shaped the approach on this Belrose property: the tall conifer hedge shaping was worked from ladders and platforms so both sides could be cut evenly rather than only the side facing the house. Conifers are cut back to green growth only, since bare interior wood will not reshoot once it is exposed. Everything was carted away and the area left tidier than we found it.
